Showcase Publications Password Update Page. This page will explain how change your email password on our servers. To use this feature you must already have a user name and password supplied by us. The Easy Way... Go to webmail.showauto.com and log in with your current password. Go to "Options" on the left toolbar. Select "MDaemon Settings", click inside the password field and highlight the current password (astericks ****) and hit the backspace key on your keyboard. Type your new password and click on the "Save Changes" button. Log out of the webmail page and log back into the site with your new password to complete the process. (Passwords are case sensitive) The Hard Way... First open Outlook Express. Once Outlook Express is open select "Create Mail" button. If you have a version of Outlook Express that is earlier than 5, this button is called "Compose Message".

Once the message window appears, enter the following information in the "To" line... mdaemon@your-server-name (Example: johnsmith@showauto.com) In the "Subject" line enter your user name and your current password with a comma in-between. In the example below I used my username (Webmaster). (Example: webmaster, 88888888) In the body (message area) enter the following information... "POP Password (your new password)" (Example: POP Password 99999999) Click send and wait five minutes for the changes to be completed. After five minutes, log back into webmail.showauto.com and use your new password. Note: You will not be able to access your account with the old password any more, so be sure to remember your new password. If you are using a email program to check your messages, like Outlook Express, be sure to change your password in your accounts settings.
